Here Come the Mummies
When Here Come the Mummies takes the stage, expect more than a concert — expect a full-blown funk-fueled experience unlike anything else touring today. The eight-piece band of “5000-year-old Egyptian Mummies” has built a cult following across North America with their signature blend of outrageous humor, killer musicianship, and what they proudly call “Terrifying Funk from Beyond the Grave.” From massive festival crowds to sold-out theaters, HCTM delivers a high-energy live show packed with infectious grooves, wild stage antics, and nonstop audience interaction that keeps fans dancing from start to finish.
Over the years, Here Come the Mummies has shared stages with legendary artists including P-Funk, Al Green, Mavis Staples, KC and the Sunshine Band, and Cheap Trick, while also appearing on That’s My Jam with Jimmy Fallon and becoming fan favorites on The Bob & Tom Show. A Benefit Concert for First Responders
September 11, 2026 • World’s Fair Park Performance Lawn • Knoxville, Tennessee
On September 11, 2001, America changed forever.
Twenty-five years later, Knoxville will come together to remember, reflect, and give back.
Presented by Concerts For Our Own in partnership with the City of Knoxville, Tributes & Tunes: A Benefit Concert for First Responders is a community-centered evening honoring the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who protect our communities every day.
Held on the exact 25th anniversary of September 11, the event blends remembrance and celebration through live music, memorial tributes, and shared community experiences beneath the open sky at World’s Fair Park.
Featuring an all-local lineup of East Tennessee musicians, the evening reflects the heart of Knoxville itself — neighbors supporting neighbors through music, gratitude, and unity.
Guests will experience:
• The Survivor Tree Tribute
• The 343 Remembrance Wall
• Honor Guard Presentation & Invocation
• First Responder Recognition Ceremony
• Community Reflection Moments
• Live performances from Knoxville-area artists and special guests
Proceeds from the evening will benefit organizations supporting firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and first responder families across East Tennessee.
This is more than a concert.
It’s Knoxville saying thank you.
